About us
True Cut Building specialises in high-end residential carpentry, bespoke extensions, and full-scale renovations. Owned and operated by Matt Glass, a licensed builder with over 20 years of experience, we bring an expert, hands-on approach to every project we undertake.
Our founder Matt’s career progressed from apprentice carpenter to Foreman, managing complex residential and commercial developments. This foundation ensures that every True Cut project is overseen by someone who understands both the fine details of the tools and the high-level management required for a successful build.
We handle projects of all scales across the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, St George, and the Sutherland Shire. From modern new homes to sensitive heritage restorations – we manage the entire process. By liaising directly with councils, architects, and engineers, we ensure your vision is delivered on time and with total structural integrity and sustainability. Led by Matt and a team of trusted subcontractors, we provide a professional, stress-free service focused on quality that lasts.
